Understanding the pamphlet estimates.
The pamphlet illustrates 3,500 kWh/year of gas savings and 500 kWh/year of electricity savings. It lists £380/year in heating and energy savings, plus £120/year in heating and cooling benefits, for a stated total of £500/year. These are reference estimates rather than a calculation of your property’s bill.
Its example also shows wall heat loss reducing from 33% to 10%, lower energy demand of up to 30%, and around 1,000 kg/year less CO₂. These figures are illustrative and depend on the property, insulation specification and energy use; they are not guaranteed results.
