If your property is rated D, E or F, we can assess a route towards EPC C. The achievable rating depends on your property, insulation and the improvements recommended by an EPC assessor; a heating upgrade alone does not guarantee a C rating.

Check eligibility and request a quotation ↗Eligible landlords and homeowners in England and Wales replacing oil heating with a qualifying air-to-water heat pump can access up to £9,000 through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme. This includes the £7,500 grant plus an additional £1,500 for oil-heated properties without a mains gas connection, available until 31 March 2027. Terra can help check eligibility and guide you through the process with an MCS-certified contractor. Approval is subject to the scheme’s requirements.

The example assumes 10,000 kWh/year of oil fuel use, a 75% efficient existing boiler and heat pump SCOP 3.0. This gives 7,500 kWh/year of useful heat and 2,500 kWh/year of heating electricity. Solar generation is 846 kWh/year, all used at home with no export credit. Cooling assumes a 1 kW average electrical input for four hours a day over 120 days (480 kWh/year).
Reference rates are 25.34p/kWh for electricity and an illustrative 7.3p/kWh oil fuel rate, not current quotations. Actual usage, SCOP and solar self-use vary. At 50% solar self-use, the pamphlet estimates £82.06/year net saving (£6.84/month). Other household usage and fixed charges are unchanged.
The £0 package contribution depends on eligibility for the £9,000 grant and the property survey. Your quotation will confirm the equipment, installation scope, VAT treatment and any additional work before you agree to proceed.
